I've been to Flemings a number of times, but until recently, I was unaware that they had a private dining room in the rear of the restaurant. A good friend of mine recently celebrated a milestone birthday and invited his friends to join him in the celebration.
Knowing that real estate in the South Bay is premium, I was surprised to see the size of the room. French doors led to their patio where we were able to enjoy wine and good conversation before our meal.
Despite our medium sized group, we were all able to order off of the main menu. Our server, Michael took excellent care of us throughout the evening. In fact, the shift manager also dropped by a few times to check on our experience. Ambient noise from the restaurant was not a factor as the room is well insulated.
My wife thoroughly enjoyed her petite filet; our friend across from us enjoyed her prime ribeye immensely. My lobster tempura was delicious, in fact, I wish there was more of it on the plate. The bit hit of the evening was the lobster mac. Our side of the table kept oohing and ahhhing over it. The roasted mushroom ravioli with the porcini butter sauce was also amazing.
Even if it's not a special occasion, Flemings offers very economical pricing during Happy Hour. Theire "5 for 5" is very popular. During that time, you're able to sample their delicious food and enjoy their superb service.
