This is a great hotel - stayed one night for an early LAX flight. Great service from the front desk, shuttle driver. Room is large and modern and the bathroom was extra clean and fancy. The only complaint I had was the water flow in the shower - not terrible but not great. Otherwise it would get all As from me. After returning the rental car, didn't have time to get dinner so had a pizza at their bar/counter (its not really a restaurant). So glad it was available and the pizza was very good too. If needed, I will definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and super helpful. On our departure date, we asked for a minivan taxi for the trip to the airport as we had many large suitcases. The taxi company sent a compact. To help us out. Gabriel, one of the staff, on seeing our problem, used his own personal minivan to take us to the airport. And he refused any kind of payment in exchange. It's clear they really went the extra mile to help us out. He could have just called for another taxi, but seeing the rush we were in to make our flight, decided to just drop us off himself. Thank you Gabriel!

Rooms were simple, clean and had a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed the daily hot breakfast which included made to order omelettes.

On our way out, Evelyn from the front desk handed our son a box with a cookie and bottled water for our long trip home.

Great place to stay, very helpful staff, and good value for money. Would definintely return here.

Family of 4 stayed 5 days in April for Spring Break. The location was perfect. Close to Airport, shops, restaurants, and train access. No problem hearing train as we stayed on lower level next to the pool. Room were nice. Furniture a little dated but clean. Breakfast was excellent! Parking and Wi-Fi free. Overall, good and will visit location again.

We stayed 2 nights on our way to Mexico in April 2014. Location is great for catching early flights from LAX. It was only 10min drive away from the Hertz rental car location.

The rooms and furniture are really old but clean enough. The bed is quite lumpy. If you're a light sleeper then I would suggest a room facing away from the train tracks. Our room in building 10 directly faced the train tracks and it was quite loud whenever the train passed. Thankfully there are less trains a night.

The staff here are really helpful and friendly.

Overall I'd stay here again if I'm doing another short layover in LA.

Room Tip: A room facing away from train tracks for light sleepers.

The rooms are nice, but try to get a first floor room because there are NO elevators!! Also found a bed bug and caught up and they tried to say it wasn't a bed bug! Definetly never staying here again!

We booked online, having read reviews before hand. So, we knew about the trains.
On check in we asked if possible to get a low level room on the opposite side to the trains. Sure says the check in guy - can't help with the low level but ok otherwise.

Our room was pretty much on the train line - second floor, nice and close. hate it when these guys on the desk ignore you!

That said - heard the trains when awake - but out most of the time. Didn't wake us or interrupt our sleep at all.

Nice room - two bedrooms - really good room actually.

Pretty clean - although spotted two finger nails on the carpet - one near each bathroom - the nails were not ours. Saw the housekeeping lady with her vacuum - the nails stayed for three days - her vacuum would have little chance to be honest.

Stayed two nights in a king room. Location of the hotel is great for restaurants, cafes, markets, and shopping. Though the room I was in was fairly close to the railway, the noise was not too bad - and I am a very light sleeper. Very spacious lounge/kitchen area, nice bedroom with walk in wardrobe and heaps of coathangers too. Lots of storage in bathroom area. Big TV in the lounge, and comfy couch, plus TV in the bedroom. Only improvement I could suggest would be instructions on how to use the quite sophisticated microwave. Guest laundry facilities were great. Breakfast was plentiful and adequate, items replenished often and quickly. The outdoor BBQ area looked good. They do provide a shuttle service to nearby facilities, but this is not available in the weekend. Had a big problem with the internet, it wasn't available for two days, due to a service provider issue. However, the Manager personally put things right. His customer recovery process can only be described as fantastic.
