Was hesitant at first after reading reviews. I'm glad to say that things have changed drastically! The rooms have new paint and carpet. While we stayed (basketball team, coach and parents), it seems that the management (probably new?) is working to make things a bit better. I did see an an active cleaninge staff; what really is needed is to replace fixtures such as bathroom sinks and shower stalls, which show signs of wear and tear, including some mold stains and grime. Some of the refrigerators and A/C's could use replacing, too.

The pool has been remodeled, though, and looks nice. The included wireless Internet access was a nice touch, too, and worked without a hitch. Also, there is a Denny's about 100 feet away, and a taco shop across the street. Overall, this motel is a good deal for the money.

The service was bad, the hotel front lobby customer service people were VERY rude. The hotel also has roaches. I would never recomend staying there, nor would I allow any I know stay there. Very poor in all matters.

Wheather in town on buisness, vacationing or just passing through you can truly relax in a clean and safe environment at the Relax Inn & Suites in El Cajon, California. Located conveniently off of Hwy 8 and close to Hwys 94 and 125. I was greeted with a warm and welcoming reception by the staff. Relax Inn is moderately priced and has all the conveniences an on the go person, such as myself, has come to expect in a home away from home. Every room is equiped with a large refrigerator, microwave and wireless internet access. Cable TV and showers with great water pressure are just to name a few perks. The number one plus for me is, Relax Inn & Suites, in El Cajon California, is a pet friendly hotel. As I travel from state to state, city to city it is very difficult to find a clean and safe pet friendly hotel I can feel completely comfortable in to stay weeks at a time. I found those qualities and more at the Relax Inn & Suite of El Cajon. So the next time your in sunny San Diego county stop in and relax pool side or in an aircondition room at Relax Inn & Suites.

We have stayed at this motel twice this year . We found it convenient , clean and comfortable . It is an older facility with upgrading in its near future but is quite acceptable at this time . The manager was friendly and helpful . We found it convenient because it is close to the freeway and to places to which we need to travel . There are two restaurants very close by , a fact we appreciate after a full day of meetings .
