I stay in a lot of hotels around the world and have since 2007, often traveling 3 weeks per month. I have the luxury of staying in nice places thanks to my company. But this was for personal use for two families and it needed to be near Azusa. The price was very good (~$60 per room, one was two doubles and one queen). By my standards it was a bit of a dump, wallpaper hanging off the walls, bathroom shower had some mold (as do some expensive hotels), the surfaces of the furniture were dirty (I'm tall so I see the tops of the wardrobe for example). It was a but noisy with a restaurant band playing next door.
With that said, it accomplished the goal of inexpensive and close to APU. It was OK for one night but I wouldn't want to stay longer. Staff was fine too, no complaints.
