“Can't wait to come again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2011

I was just getting ready to make my reservation and thought I'd check out the comments first. Since I was so impressed, I decided to add mine! We have joined friends at the ICL for the last two years and must say that the 2010 trip was fabulous. The new owners have really taken pride in this place and it shows. The rooms are GREAT, the owners and staff are very friendly and there to help with anything. The kids love the pool and having the kitchens and BBQs makes the stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed oursleves and are looking forward to the 2011 trip. Gotta go now. Have to make my reservation!

My family and I took a road trip to Indian Creek Lodge over the winter holiday. We had a VERY clean room with two bedrooms, a full bath and kitchen. What a beautiful place to stay. The grounds are well maintained and the staff was friendly and fun. We can not wait to go again in the summer for a much longer stay. I would highly recommend this lodge weather you are going with a group of girlfriends or guy friends for some fun or with you family.

Our room was super clean, although dated in a quaint way.
Bed was pretty hard, but had great pillows and soft sheets
Had some road noise from the highway nearby, but didn't notice it with the doors closed
Rooms all have a fridge and microwave, which I hadn't seen on their website.

Prices were fair at $70.

Hint: Not all rooms have blow dryers. They have them at the desk, if you need one.
Also, they need a light over the dark suitcase/dressing area. Bring a flashlight.
There is an outdoor, seasonal pool.

After looking for quite a while for a place to stay in this area, I decided on Indian Creek Lodge.
I wan't sure if I wanted to stay there because I had never been there and it seemed pretty reasonably priced.. WELL.. I was so surprised!! It was awesome. CLEAN, nice .. really nice. The people there could not have treated us better. They are by far the greatest hosts I have come across in a long time. I would say , go stay.. You will not be sorry.

Our large group of annual Trinity River tubers/rafters has been staying at the Indian Creek Lodge for many years, but our 2010 trip was by far the best! The new owners have obviously put a lot of time and effort into upgrading the rooms, including replacing the very outdated and worn furniture with some nice-looking and functional pieces. They have also cleared the land at the back of the lodge enough that guests can enjoy a clear view of the river while they relax and enjoy the BBQ areas in the back of the kitchenette rooms, but have left just the right amount of trees and undergrowth in place to complement the river view. They have a very nice pool, and there is also a nice, wide cleared path over to the Indian Creek at the north end of the Lodge, providing easy access to a great shallow creek play area for kids of all ages to enjoy. We are very much looking forward to our 2011 visit to the Lodge!

We used the Indian Creek Lodge as a 'home base' of sorts for a 6 day trip to the Trinity Alps area. An excellent value for those looking for a very clean and comfortable place to kick up your heels after a long day in the mountains.
