“Very nice stay- Great staff”

Really nice property. Great courtyard and pool area. The staff are absolutely top notch. From Jessica at the front desk to the restaurant/bar staff; Ben, Ashley, and Melanie. I had a king room and the work space and relaxing space were comfortable. Would have liked to have been on the pool side of the hotel but I think my rate probably prevented that.

I have 2 negatives, one is minor and did not affect the rating. The A/C in my room was fairly noisy when first coming on. Took a while to acclimate to that but after a while I did.
The second negative and the reason I could not give "5" rating is the Honors Lounge. The lounge appeared to have been a converted room so not a lot of space, always appeared packed. It was always quite warm in there and the breakfast offerings were extremely sub par. There were scrambled eggs that were very over cooked (both times I was in there), some regular link sausage, the typical buffet kind. That was it for any warm food. There was a toaster that was too small for several of the bread offerings and also took about 5 minutes to toast anything. Some pastries, fruit and cereal. For the cereal the milk was a school sized carton that was kept in a fridge that was on the warm side.

All in all a great property with a great staff... just don't expect much on the Honors' perks

My mom, daughter and I needed a place to stay for the night. The Hilton said it had one room left with two Queens but that it was handicapped accessible. I thought how bad could that be. Well, it was pretty bad. The bathroom was gross. There were numerous bugs and the shower floor was so icky that no one wanted to take a shower the next morning, The bathroom fan was so loud. The gate to the parking area was broken so it felt very unsafe. It was expensive, $170 for the night plus taxes. Definitely not worth it!

I have traveled a lot and stayed at other Hilton Hotels but this one has given me all the right reasons to return there on future trips. Conveniently located (near Highway, beaches, Solana beach...) the staff is polite and attentive, the room was clean and a/c worked well, the pool was very clean and right temperature...all to make for a very pleasant visit.

From my arrival to departure I was never wanting for anything. Staff was friendly and helped with any questions I had. Food was excellent. Staff recommended a restaurant and it was perfect. Room was noticeably clean and fresh from the moment I walked in.

Hilton is considered a high-end hotel so the quality of service is expected to be above average. Make sure to check water pressure and heating pressure as soon as you check into the room otherwise you might get stuck in the shower with cold water in the morning. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The sunny weather did help.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are spotless and the beds some of the most comfortable in any hotel. We loved the pool and hot tub. The restaurant was over priced and not what we expected, but very good.

I enjoyed a spacious room on the quiet courtyard. I didn't enjoy the $18/day parking fee or the $10/day room internet fee. I needed to print a couple of hardcopies in the business center, but it was so non-functional, I finally had to email them to the desk clerk, who printed them out at the front desk.

Room Tip: For peace and quiet, get a room on the courtyard.
