Amazing variety of choices in this great deli and bakery. Super-sized sandwiches and delicious deli fare.

“chicken delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Winner winner chicken dinner. After the del mar track best place for a reasonable dinner.I always get the chicken dinner with mashed potato-steamed veg.-coleslaw-and stuffing.Prices less than NY.Rest of menu has many choices with a big bakery for great desserts .Free parking and free refills on tea or soda.In shopping center with many other stores.

“Nice Deli for breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Nice place for breakfast. The food was good and the staff was friendly. The variety of bake goods we bought afterwards were a little dry which was surprising because they all looked amazing!! I would recommend this place to eat it has a great variety of food on the menu to choose from!!

“Very Good Food, Very Poor Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

This restaurant is a deli in the old tradition, and you can find just about anything that you would want in this type of a restaurant, including smoked meat sandwiches, matzoh ball and kreplach soup and other delicacies. The challenge is that the prices for almost all of their dishes are so inflated, that even with well prepared food, you are left with a bad taste in your mouth (apologies for the play on words)...There are other deli restaurants in the San Diego area offering equivalent quality dishes at much lower prices, including Elijah's, which is only about a 10 minutes drive away...Only go here if you are going to the racetrack and need a quick meal...Be prepared to pay through the nose for it...

“Was Okay!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

It was Monday the track is close so it was the best time to go to Del Mar. It was almost lunch time and I was hungry. My husband said we go to a Jewish deli. So we had lunch at Milton’s, we had the mish-mash soup and hot corned beef, pastrami, and potato salad. The soup was good but the pastrami was dry. Serves was great. I could give it another try next time.
