“Nice atmosphere and great service with average food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2011 via mobile

We had a patio table and it is a pretty place with waterfall and partial view to the ocean. So far I understood the food selection on the patio is different as in the indoor dining. Great Service with average food.

“Oh Wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2011

This was great fun - innovative fresh food and fantastic service. I did a lot of checking to find a place in Del Mar that would really suit us foodies and this hit the mark. We sat outside on the patio which is quite pretty at night - open fireplace and glass lanterns in the trees. Cabanas for the bigger groups. No street noise. But it's really about the food - you can go the usual route - appy, entree, dessert but there is charcuterie, cheeses, plenty of small plates that you can really invent whatever kind of meal you might like. We aimed to maximize sampling - everything was dazzling and creative. Ingredients are super fresh and flavours come through. You gotta try this place!!

“Trendy and Busy on the Weekends!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2010

stayed on property here--if you can get table outside in back, it is much quieter and really pretty with the waterfall, firepit and hanging tree lanterns. sweetbreads and beet salad were favorites. Zinifinity was a good buy on wines offered!

“Wonderful dining experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2010

Had dinner here on a Saturday evening this past weekend. I was a little concerned as there was a wedding at the hotel that night but everything was great. Both my husband and I had the halibut w/lobster tail. The halibut was excellent as was the unusual "pea pudding" served with it. The salads were also excellent and generous in size. The wait staff was pleasant and professional. Prices are not cheap but we ate at Jake's also while in town. For the $30 difference this was by far superior
