For walking, bike riding, kayaking, people-watching, or just relaxing, you cant beat Dana Point Harbor.
Or of course you could make your way out the rough pathway along the jetty, and hope you dont get wet from ocean spray!
Another alternative is to start here and wander north up to the south end of Laguna.
Very relaxing area. Long pathways to walk to and fro on. The restaurants are tasty and reasonably priced.
Beautiful, clean and surrounding areas peaceful. At 4:30 some person went up on the cliffs overlooking the bay and played the bagpipes for all to enjoy. Don't know if that happens everyday, though.
There is always some event in the area, and lots of great walks, good restaurants, and great shopping.
Dana Point Harbor is one of our favorite getaways. Lots to do and see from walking, boat trips, kayak rentals, restaurants and shops.
