“Ok food, snobby waiter, looooong wait”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013 via mobile

Spotty service, snobby raggetty waiters. We did not get the same service as the other tables just because we don't speak Chinese. I noticed Chinese speaking people get teapots with the warmer on the bottom and our tables (2) and other tables that don't speak Chinese didn't. We also felt neglected by the wait staffs. Took forever to order and get served. We didn't get one item until we had to enquire 4 times. When we said it was too late and we would like to cancel the item, the staff of course said no, item was made already and was coming it soon...another 20 minutes. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else than go to this pretentious dump. NEVER again. Stay as far away as you can, I get better service at panda express than here.

“Best dim sum, Service very poor, Noisy and unpleasant environment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

We go there for the food, and we are willing to put up with the rest. Dim sum is the best in the bay area in our opinion. If you can look past the very poor service, the noise, the chaos and the lack of upkeep of the decor (peeling paint, dirty spots on carpet etc.), then the dim sum is excellent. Wait time is very long.

Even though the food (dim sum lunch) is excellent, considering everything else, I give this restaurant 3 star.

“Very good dim sum, better than I expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

From the business card of Koi Palace, its has at least 4 different restaurants in Daly City CA, Lincoln CA, and 2 in Dublin CA. The dim sum are cook and serve after you ordered them from a paper menu, we checked off some popular items and when the food comes (pretty fast), it was hot and tasty. Especially the soup-filled dumping, I think it cannot be found in the L.A. area. Also, the quality of food there is very good, but some people might think it is a little pricy.

“Best Beef Chow Fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

Been going here for years for dim sum and dinner. Had the best beef chow fun in a long time. Also tried the shrimp with fried garlic, fried oysters, stir fried steak, Shanghai soup dumplings. Everything was excellent.
