“Very Accomodating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. One of my daughter's Leap Pad2 froze on our 8 hr. trip to Disneyland. I was troubleshooting it their guest computer only to find out that I had to download the Leap Frog program. With it being a public use computer, I was blocked from downloading it. We were facing an 8-hr. car ride with a 2 and 4 yr. old and one had a working Leap Pad and the other didn't. Needless to say, it was not going to be a fun ride home. I told the night manager my dilemma, and he was gracious enough to allow me to use his office computer to fix it. Thankfully, I was able to fix and have a pleasant drive home. The night manager went over and beyond by allowing me to do this. We greatly appreciate their above-and-beyond service they provided.

Room Tip: Our only disappoint was that there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room.

Stayed here in Dec 13. Good hotel within Orange County limits. Quiet place and easy access to many restaurants and services. Has access to internet via cable, need wi-fi. Only disappointment is the towels are thin. Has a Starbuck in lobby, but I didn't try. Easy access to/from 405.

Stayed here for a week for a business conference. If first impressions were all it took then this place would be great! Unfortunatly the lobby is the only positive this hotel has going for it! Worst mattress ever, shoddy bed linens, stained and worn out sofa. I tried to spend as little time as possible in the room. The corners had lint and dirt built up, the wallpaper was peeling. Won't be booking here again. No gold elite perks either :(

Stayed here in November when we went to Disneyland. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hint, ask for a room facing East and you will be able to see Disney's fireworks, they're only four mile away. They have some really good restaurants nearby and this hotel is in a good location.

Thank you for your review. Our Bistro is a great addition to our hotel and the Courtyard brand and we are sorry you did not experience it. We apologize for your view of the HVAC on the second floor roof. Unfortunately there are a few rooms in our entire hotel with that view and when we are sold out we need to utilize them. Thank you for staying with us..

Stayed here on business in July 2012. Clean and comfortable, no complaints. Hotel map showed a restaurant but there isn't one, I think they removed it. There is a sort of bar/snack bar/kitchen place. Other people ate their but it didn't look too promising to me, so I can't rate it. My view was of the HVAC equipment on the roof. I'd stay here again under the same circumstances, but it's not exactly a destination resort.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. You are correct, we did have a restaurant available for breakfast and dinner until our renovation, which was completed in September 2011.

What you saw during your stay was our new Bistro with so many great choices. We also have our 24/7 market available with freshly made sandwiches, salads, and much more. These two options have been quite a hit with our guests along with our Starbucks!! Hopefully, you will come back and experience it.

We were in Orange County for our daughter's softball tournament and assigned to room 229. After getting up early for the long drive to So. Cal. and a full day of softball activities, we arrived back at the hotel at 9 pm exhausted and ready for a good night's sleep. When we opened the doors to the room, the walls and floor were literally vibrating with booming sounds from a party. We were told by the front desk that a Quinceanera Party below our room was responsible for the noise. They told us there were no other rooms they could assign us to. However, they assured us that the party would end by 11 pm and that they would tell the band to tone it down. However, by 11:35 pm the loud noise had not ended and was even intensifying. The front counter personnel then revised the time for the end of the party to 12 am and basically told us there was nothing they could do to end the noise. We were unable to get to sleep until well past midnight and were very exhausted all day the next day from the experience. However, as a consolation, we were only charged for a one night stay (we stayed two nights) and given a free breakfast on the second morning of our stay.

Room Tip: Room 229 is above/next to an entertainment room. Beware of loud noises, especially on weekends!

Please accept our sincerest apology for the experience you had with the loud noise from the party that took place in our ballroom. Although it is located away from the rest of the hotel, it is situated under a few of our sleeping rooms. We try our best to book the rooms that are affiliated with the party in those rooms but for some reason you were booked into one of them.

I see the staff took care of you as far as compensation. Again, our apologies and thank you for staying with us.

The lobby is nice enough but once up in our room the carpet (room 305) was bunched up in several places, I kept tripping on it, and the mattress was thin and hard as a rock.

This hotel feels like a budget motel.
The bathroom is small and there was only shampoo and conditioner (no lotion) as well as two bars of soap.
The "suite" was just a large room - definitely nothing special. The cushion on the sofa (sleeper sofa) was only about 4 inches thick - very thin. I can only imagine how uncomfortable the sleeper would be.
This is the second Marriott property I've stayed in in two weeks and I've come to realize how disappointing these hotels are.
Although we got a super deal of $79 for the room I wouldn't have paid more for it.
I do not recommend staying here
