Stayed at the hotel for business the week of August 5th through the 9th, the hotel was prepaid by my employer (Riverside County), however, when I checked in I was instructed to leave a credit card for incidentials. The following day I checked my bank balance and discovered the hotel had charged my credit card for the hotel and incidentials $590.00. When i questioned them aobut this I was told I should have only been charged $80.00 for incidentials and that it would be reversed that day, however the following day I did receive a credit for $500.00, with little or no explanation. Then the next day I was again charged $30.00 for an unknown amount and when I questioned the new charge was told it would be for the parking of two vehicles assigned to my room. I explained to them I would be paying cash for parking the day prior to checking out and to please reverse the charges. The Wednesdaty prior to leaving I infact paid cash for the two vehicles and was assured there would be no additional charges on my credit card. However, again prior to cheching out there was yet another charge for $24.00, unknown for what and it was eventually reversed. It shoud be noted when I questioned them about the original charge I spoke with the front desk clerk whom as to see my credit card again and copied down my account number and for unknown reasons also copies the three digit security code from the back and told me it would be necessary for her to reverse the charge (?), then two days after checking out of the hotel and returning to work I was notified by my bank that unknown suspect(s) had used my credit card for charges in the city of Torrance. Unknown if anyone from the hotel is responsible for these charges but it is interesting after checking out of the hotel there were additional charges and then two additional charges elsewhere in the community. In short I would have to say my stay at this hotel was less than enjoyable and I have no plans of every returning to this location and/or any other Marriott hotels. In closing while continuing to attempt to get this matter resolved i have gotten little to no help from the hotel, it just, "I'm so sorry." pathetic, worst experince ever at any hotel
Dont stay at this hotel, try anyone else in the area

I am surprised to read such comments my apologies for causing you such an inconvienence. I recall speaking to you myself personally. I remember explaining to you in detail the charges and credits on your card. We resolved these issue through Marriott Customer Care. You were not a victim of Identity theft but part of a human error and training issue.
