We were spending the weekend in the Sonoma area and were looking for a farm-to-table dinner at a farm. We were lucky enough to hear about Suchernova Farm, which was holding its first farm dinner.
The cost was $100 per person including drinks, and this included several delicious hors d'oeuvre (my favorite was the green gazpacho, which tasted as if the vegetables had just been pulled from the ground), followed by a 3 course dinner of the highest quality, using fresh ingredients from the farm. Included in the evening was a tour of the farm and a band playing live country music. The setting was absolutely idyllic and the owner were extremely pleasant and ready to answer any question.
Our 2 year old had the greatest time feeding goats, and alpaca and some sheep with hay provided by the farm.
We would definitely try to repeat this experience if we are ever in the area again.
