“Great for business travelers with or without the family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Great location, friendly staff. Perfect for families because the rooms are all suites but it also has bathtubs and a great pool area with cabanas that usually aren't too crowded. The location is close to the highways but also walking distance to nice restaurants and shopping.

Room Tip: Pool view is nice, but all the rooms are great.

The grounds and lobby area are really nice.

Staff was super friendly and helped us out with all the little extras we forgot to bring like shaving cream, razors, and even fingernail clippers.

While the room layout is great and the room was clean, i think it is time for an update. Little things like the kitchen cabinets are bolted shut, the office chair arm foam is breaking off, and the patio slinding door just about takes a car jack to open. It would also be nice if they had a safe in the room.

Thanks to previous reviews we included the breakfast with our room rate. What a great breakfast, everything was fresh, even the pastries.

We walked to the mall for dinner the previous night. We went out to the street and followed the sidewalk up a couple of blocks, later we realized that the sidewalk around the pond also headed that way and was much more park-like. If we did it again i would try that path and stay off the road.

We stayed here for one night (got a great deal on Priceline.com) and the room was great. The rooms are all-suite so we had plenty of space for myself and my husband, plus our three kids. We had two queen beds in the bedroom, plus a pull-out sofa in the living area. While the room was great, the fees for parking and Wi-FI service are outrageous! When we checked-in we arrived very late and were leaving early the next morning. I asked if the parking fee ($21!!!) could be waived since we weren't going to be there very long and they happily agreed! Then the next morning, my work unexpectedly needed me to log-in. I paid the $12.95 to get Wi-Fi. I was not only upset about having to log-in to work, but I was angry that the hotel charged so much! When I checked out, I told them I had to login for 30 minutes and didn't think it was fair that I had to pay the full amount since I didn't use it for 24 hours. They agreed to waive that, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were so gracious about it and I was an extremely happy and satisfied customer! Thank you to the front desk staff. I was extremely appreciative!!!!

A number of us were attending a conference in Anaheim and normally stay near the convention center. When we found out pretty much everything was booked we choose this property. We were a bit hesitant because of the deal we got but all four of us were thrilled. Great location nice area. Parking is easy thought $21 per day. Rooms were very clean though seem a bit older but did not bother me since it was very well kept. We had breakfast there which was decent. The front desk employees were friendly and made some restaurant recommendations one was excellent but a couple of them did not know any besides chains. All in all this was an excellent stay.

I haven't stayed at this property for over 10 years and was pleasantly surprised to see how well they have kept it up. Prices are competitive for the area Rooms are well appointed suites that are in good condition, although some of the tables are a bit scratched up. The restaurant and bar area is comfortable and service was good. The breakfast buffet was well well stocked and the quality of the food was good. I didn't go out to the pool but it looked very nice and they have seating and table service outside. Pricing for breakfast was a bit high but not too bad. Parking is $21/day which is slightly overpriced for the area. Overall I'm pleased and will put this hotel on my list for future visits.

Walking distance to office buildings and south coast mall with eatary galore and shopping
The staff here are very nice. The breakfast layout is just right. There is a short order cook behind the grill for whatever you desire plus hot and cold cereal all sorts of berry and fruit for $18 pp. hotel is tastefully decorated. PArking is $21/day self park with room key access - works well

I always stay at this Marriott when in town on business because its centrally located near numerous amenities and great dining. Very clean, great service and front desk staff always aims to please. Breakfast buffet is adequate and the wait staff is always one step ahead with juice or coffee. You won't be disappointed.
