Finally made it to the Crown Room (actually was closed for a meeting so brunch was held in oceanfront ballroom) for the fancy Del brunch last weekend. First off, the food is incredible and quite the spread. Pretty much everything you would want--breakfast foods, seafood (king crab legs, shrimp, oysters, lobster tortellini), salads, meats (turkey, prime rib, lamb, ham), desserts, candy, too much other stuff to mention.
Anyways, with a per person charge of $79, I would assume the service would be spectacular, which it was not. We spent the whole meal trying to get our waters filled, which only happened once during the meal, then Plates were not taken away quickly--we had to stack our new plates on top of the old ones-- and really it was frankly, disappointing. The venue was not really crowded either, so I don't know if they were short staffed or what the deal was.
Overall, I would go back for the food but would have much higher expectations for the service.
