“Busy, lively place - a haunt for locals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

We were pleased we went to Leroy's and had a good table for listening to the Gonzo Trio. Despite their name they were a decent rock covers band.
The place was busy and lots of people seemed to know the band and each other which made for a jolly atmosphere. The food we ordered was pretty good: carrot and saffron soup and devilled eggs both enjoyed as a first course; corn ravioli was a bit stodgy but the vegetables in the sauce delicious, and swordfish was good. We shared a lemon crème dessert which was also good. The service was a little slow at times. One extremely expensive sour style beer was not enjoyed. Overall a good evening.

“Triple Threat, food, service and music!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

Had an amazing brunch with friends at Leroy's on Sunday! Reservations recommended to get a table right away because it's so popular. Original menu with something for everyone. Pecan sticky buns so delicious we ordered 2 more, plus great bacon waffles and some tasty deviled eggs. And that's just for starters. Bloody Mary's out of this world, both the bacon and the regular one. Service was spot on without being overbearing and the live music, featuring Gonzo, topped off our experience.

“Flavorless Farm to table food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014 via mobile

Second time we ate here and still the same. I ordered a house Chardonnay and the waiter suggested a first press Sonoma county wine. It was a small pour and not great. I would not have ordered it if I knew it was $12.00 a glass. The fish tacos were nothing special. My wife's beet salad with chicken was a let down. The chicken was over cooked and dry. The beets had very little flavor. The lunch was not worth the price we payed for it. There will not be a third time.

“Looking for a good meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

4-27-14, my BF and I were really hungry, and found Leroy's for dinner here on Coronado. On Sunday night they offer fried chicken (not on the menu). It's served w/mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. The chicken was good but not great, potatoes, gravy and green beans were tasty. I ordered the deviled eggs, they were excellent! Also, Brussel sprouts - amazing, and very tasty Mac n cheese with bacon. Couldn't go wrong there either. We ordered a lilikoi margarita, and island rum punch, both ok but the raspberry mojito was very good! The service was top notch. I'd prefer non shared bathrooms tho... Ambiance and decor both pleasant. We would go back!

“favorite on Coronado”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

We loved this place so much we went twice during our 5 day stay in Coronado. Food was excellent. Burger delicious, corn ravioli fantastic, salads great, even kids meals offered more than the normal (boring) chicken fingers. They had grilled chicken and grill steak for the kids too, which I appreciate. The Basil Gimlet is amazing...and you cannot miss the Maple&Bacon sticky bun w butter pecan ice cream. you will NOT be sorry! There was even live music one night when we were there. LOVE the space/vibe. Excellent service. Cannot say enough good things! Love it.
