“A nice place for dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2012

We enjoy Timbers for a nice dinner. Each time we've eaten here the food has tasted great. The salads are fresh and the steaks are tasty and tender.

“Stay Away Steak House”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2012

Low quality food - The Worst Slow Service - Completly disorginized - we tried a few diffrent times to like the place, but each time was worst than the last. Save your money - Perko's serves better steaks and service is MUCH Better. Unless you like Cold Tuff Chewy Steaks...

“Tasty restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2011

My husband had the surf and turf special and I had the garlic chicken fettucini plate. They both were tasty. What was a hit was their bread and plate of swirled Balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Prices were reasonable and good service.

“Save your money, go to the buffet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2010

We looked forward to a nice restaurant dinner after a long drive from socal...We checked out the buffet and were very impressed (it was a Friday) with the assortment of seafood and very good looking prime rib for $15.95. But, we felt like being pampered so chose The Timbers. We were extremely disappointed. We were early enough that it was not crowded, so that was not an issue. We ordered the prime rib rare with their warm water lobster. The meal took forever to arrive and when it did the prime rib was medium and the "lobster" was dry and tasteless. We complained and she offered to redo the dinner but by that time we had been there an hour and were ready to eat and get out. She offered us a dessert...we don't eat dessert. and a very lame apology.
We love stopping there as a stop-over point from Palm Desert to Portland, but from now on, we'll just line up for the buffet!!

“Best food in 30 mile radius guarenteed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2010

We live in nearby Red Bluff and were tired of the 3 or 4 same old restaurants with only mediocre food. We decided to drive the 20 miles or so to Corning and Rolling Hills Casino for dinner to Timbers, which we have walked by several times over the past few years while in the casino. The menu was GREAT (mostly because I love crab) with an excellent mix of seafood, steaks, salads, and pasta's. Be prepared to spend about $40 a person with a glass or two of wine and starters, but it is well worth it. The dining room is nice, serving staff very friendly and service quick (although not the attentive, subtle service of a true 5 star restaurant.... this is Corning afterall). My filet was done perfect, the snow crab was super sweet and the salads and sides fresh and tasty. Will absolutely eat there again.
