Convenient for us off the highway since we are stopping before we reach Seattle. Location quiet, staff friendly, rooms great, bed comfortable. If you need a spa day it's available too along with a nice restaurant on site. Will definitely stop back on our way back to Florida

Dear Gmama65,

We really appreciate you responding to us in how convenient the DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont was for you before reaching Seattle. It is located right between the 10 and 210 Freeways which does make it very convenient.

Good to hear that you liked the location and it was quiet and our staff was friendly. Yes our Serta mattresses make for a good night sleep and are very comfortable.

Our Essentials Day Spa & Salon is open 6 days a week for our guest and local residents as well as our Orchards restaurant which is open 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We definitely look forward to having you stay with us again on your way back to Florida.

Kind regards,

I'm a Claremont Graduate University student who has since moved across the country, and I always stay here when I return for school business. You can easily get a decent price on a hotels web site (approx. $100 a night, sometimes!), and the hotel is clean and easily accessible. I've never eaten at the restaurant or bar, but you don't have to, because Claremont has a wonderful variety of establishments within walking distance. The sliding door on the bathroom is a little weird, but livable; also, the coffeemaker didn't exactly produce great brew, but there's a little coffee and smoothie bar (The Spot) around the corner that is highly recommended. Couple that with the fact that Trader Joe's is right next door, and you're set for food in a hurry. The room has a fridge, so it's easy to grab a couple of salads and sodas and settle in for work or relaxation if you wish. Highly recommended for travel to Claremont!

I was impressed with all aspects of the hotel and location. The grounds are gorgeous, even in the winter. The rooms are quiet and it was an enjoyable stay. Matt did an outstanding job with the check in process and chose a wonderful room. If ever in the area again for business, i will choose this location and recommend it to others. There is a great little village with shops and restaurants close by.

This is a nice hotel with everything to offer. There is a great restaurant on site serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as round the clock room service. Of course it has a pool, hot tubs, office space, ect.. In addition to the on site restaurant, there is also another great Italian restaurant, as well as a dueling piano bar, that all share a parking lot with the hotel. They also have an agreement with a local recreation center offering a full gym, saunas, pools, tennis courts, ect.

The hotel staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating. Every desire was met and surpassed. I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

Hello rmcl26,

Thank you very much for such kind words of how you thought the hotel was nice and had everything to offer.

Yes our Orchard restaurant on site does serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as round the clock room service.

Our pool grounds are one of our favorite areas and yes what a great way to end the day in the hot tub.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont is in a great location with many options of local eateries and of course our dueling Piano Lounge Piano Piano is a lot of fun!

I will pass on the kind words to our hotel staff on how nice and accommodating they were.

We look forward to having you stay with us again.

We had a big problem upon check-in with the front desk woman. The big woman at the check-in counter was very rude and extremely unfriendly, that day was 103 F maybe the heat got to her a bit, we totally dislike her poor attitude working as a front desk lady.
At first, she can't located our reservation, then she told us we can't change room - We had booked a none smoking room with a king size bed, but we were giving a smaller double bed room, not to mention the room smells bad (we can leave the window open while running the A/C try to cool off the room while outside temp. is 103F..
We had lots of luggages but there's bellboy at this hotel to help us with our luggages.
Our room was located at the far end of the facility, it was a long walk to get there,by the time we were in our room, we were so angry and sweaty!

We dislike the color of the room - from light dirty brown to dark horror brown! The bed was so uncomfortable I can feel the springs poking my body.
There were loud ventilation noise in the bathroom which can't be fixed or turned off! One of the hotel staff told us all the room in this hotel has the same noise. Reeeeeally !!!

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for a wedding event, we hated everything in this hotel except the little restaurant. The food is not fancy but the friendly staff made this place felt adequate.

Hello Suzycutie1212,

First of all thank you for taking the time out of your day to write a review on the DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont. I am very sorry to hear of the mishap that you had upon check in. This is not our standard at all and I am very surprised of hearing of the poor attitude. This will be addressed and discussed further with our front office manager so no further incidents like this occur.

All of our rooms are configured a little differently and we try to accommodate our guest to the best of their needs, our apology this was not to your liking.

We do certainly hope that you would give the DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont the chance if you are ever back in our area again to really show you what we do pride ourselves on and that is outstanding customer service.

With kindest regards,

Shirlene Maldonado
