“Fun and tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Who doesn't love pie and especially little individual servings? The meat pies have the same beautiful crust as the dessert pies. Just another fun and unique experience in Claremont.

“Calling this a specialty dessert shop would be an understatement.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

Great tasting artisan pies in a very nice location in Claremont Village. Making individual pies must be much more difficult than putting frosting on a cupcake and this place balances great looking desserts that really deliver on taste. High quality ingredients do make a difference. No disappointments here.

“Yum!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Yummy little find. I have only had the sweet "pies" not the savory, but they sound and look amazing. The chocolate chip chess pie is as described "like a gooey chocolate chip cookie in a cup". Prices are high, but it's a treat, so go ahead and splurge!

“Grandmother's pies in her kitchen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

If you like flaky melt in your mouth pie crusts full of local fresh ingredients, this is your place. The mushroom, spinach and Swiss cheese pie was lush and buttery. The butternut squash and goat cheese pie was to kill for and I am a pacifist! I didn't try the sweet pies but they looked heavenly. The shop itself is homey and bright. Remember you get what you pay for. If you want cheap mass produced bland pies, go to Costco. If you want a taste of real Grandma style cooking run (do not walk) to I Like Pies. Because I do and so will you!

“Great Pies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

Went for lunch at the new I Like Pies in the West Village. The pies we had were fantastic but the prices are way too high,$10 for a larger pie which had no salad or fruit with it. It was about the size of a jelly jar.
The pie itself was wonderful, Chicken Divan, with lots of chicken!! Great flavor and great crust. There was only water to drink.
This is their second week being open and they are right now having only a few choices of savory and dessert pies. I think when the menu is more settled, so you can know what days they will offer which pies, it will be a help. They are open long hours. Eventulally they will have tables outside but right now the tables are inside. It is right by the theater so that should bring them alot of business.
