“cookies”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

For years I've taken SC cookies on trips to northern California to my daughter's family. A favorite is the molasses. Always friendly service.

“Just 'ok'”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We walked in not really knowing what to expect. kind of old and dirty. There were 2 display cabinets with a few items - they all looked dried out & not very appealing. We couldn't figure out what they offered - just a small 'jewel' case where the register was with 2 shelves of baskets of cookies and a few muffins & some items on trays behind the counter. Coffee & Cookies were ok, bearclaw was good. Visited around 1pm - so maybe only good in the morning?

“Our favorite, the egg sliders, great coffee and pastries as well.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Although the wait can be long if it is busy (30-45 minutes, the egg sliders are great. And if you go on Sunday, you can take your coffee, go to the farmer's market and be back in time to pick up the sliders. The pastries are good, but I have never been tempted to pass up the sliders in the morning. You can also call ahead and pick them up to go. Took my husband there for the first time last week, and he wasn't impressed, but everyone else I have taken there loved it!

“The greatest bakery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

If you like buttery pastries and some unusual presentations, this is one of the greatest.

Warning: addictive.

Even has space to sit down and enjoy the fare while doing your email. Their baking puts most other competitors in the Inland Empire to shame.

“Lunch in Claremont, CA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

We took the advise of the student interviewer at McKenna College. We were happy we did. It was a quick, delicious, local feel restaurant with room for only about 12 people to sit and minimal outdoor seating. We took a seat at the counter and ate our hot chicken pesto panini on rosemary bread. The bread was not too thick. It was a perfect meal for lunch and reasonably priced.
