Description: Modeled after Las Vegas’ Oyster Bar, dishes are prepared in cooking kettles at a U-shaped counter in front of you. Sauces are made daily by scratch so that spices can be tailored to your specific liking. High-pressured steam is pushed through pipes onto your dish at 280-307 degrees so it simmers evenly and without the chance of overcooking. The Boiler is currently the only Cajun/Creole restaurant in the Inland Valley, which recently opened in 2009. It is the destination on the horizon at The Commons mall in Chino Hills.

“Great Cajun food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2011

We come here fairly often and you really can't go wrong with any of the entrees. They tailor your meal to whatever spice level you like (0-10). I always get the crab pan roast at spice level 3 (I'm a lightweight) and it's wonderful. Served over rice with great flavor. My husband has tried many other items here at a level 5 and really likes the cioppino and bouillabaisse. The chefs are super nice and fun - you can either get a table or sit at the horseshoe-shaped bar to eat. The lunch and dinner menu is the same, but lunch prices are much cheaper during the week. Also, they only charge dinner prices on the weekend, even if you go for lunch - but we find the food is worth the price. If you're in the mood for something different, this is the place.

“Love the Boiler!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2011

My husband I go to the Boiler often. The House Pan Roast is to die for! It's a fun atmosphere. We sit at the bar surrounding the cooks and talk to the cooks and other guests. Once you go, you'll be hooked!

“Great environment and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2009

We had a small group meeting at this restaurant. The management were very accomodating and the food was excellent (sampler appetizer). One of the members had patronized the restraunt several times and noted the Roasts were excellent. Visit the site before you visit to check serving times and hours. Open for lunch and dinner. Highly worth a try.

“Damn tasty and a unique experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2009

In a nutshell, you HAVE to go to this place at least once. Don't let the word "cajun" frighten you-- you can adjust the spiciness and heat of whatever you order. At a 1, your 5 year old would eat it fine. At a 10, you'll break a sweat. I went with 5 and was quite happy.

I recommend you eat at the counter-- you'll get a great show watching them cook in the steam-heated kettles at the counter. Great conversation, a bit of a show, and amazingly tasty food.
