After dealing with an unexpected car repair on a recent trip to Chico, we happened upon the Cozy Diner and it was a good find. Their menu is huge, almost to the point where I almost couldn't decide what to have. My man (MM) and stepson (SS) liked the pictures of the old cars that adorn the walls. I had a sandwich they called the "TBA" which stands for Turkey, Bacon and Avocado served on focaccia bread, which was kinda different but enjoyable. MM had a tri-tip dinner which came with mashed potatoes, gravy, soup AND salad; SS had a very hearty looking burger. The place is obviously popular judging by the number of cars in the parking lot and the number of people inside. The table arrangement almost reminded me of a cafeteria, no partitions to separate the booths, so sometimes it was a little loud. They make their own pies there and the waitresses would walk by with them making me wish I had room for dessert, but alas... only dinner was to be enjoyed!
