This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room smelled, the carpet was dirty and had not been vaccummed. Much of the furniture had chips and cracks or needed painting. The drapes were dirty and falling off the hooks, you really needed to work to pull the drapes closed so that no one could see into your room. The bathroom tub was under going some type of renovation, there were pieces missing from the title, discoloration, and floor of the tub was dirty. I put a towel down to take a shower. Water was dripping out at a slow speed, so very difficult to get clean, when you are trying to get out of the tub as soon as you could for fear of catching sometime. Walls in the entire room needed painting.

I spoke to management about the problems, they stated some rooms were going through renovation.
If the management was renovating this room, why would they rent it out?

I picked this hotel because it was a part of a large chain. Obviously the Vagabond Company does not appear to care about customers, I told the management of my dissatisfaction and also completed the questionnaire to the parent company. I had not heard from the parent company, it has been at least 6 months since my stay. I am getting ready to stay in Chico again, and ran across this hotel and this page to submit my opinion. Obviously I am not staying here.
