“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

I noticed the Cass House when a friend of mine took me to the Brown Butter Cookie Co. The Cyucos' Cookie Ladies were located next to Cass, at the time. I instantly wanted to visit but did not have the chance until about a year later. The dinner was amazing, the cute room with the garden view was spectacular, and the service was exquisite. Over all the experience was phenomenal.

P.S. If you are not able to do the over night experience just go to their dinner, it is to die for...

The Cass House is a great place to spend a weekend or vacation. It has been beautifully restored and all the rooms are very nice and each one of them is different. When we checked out (on a Monday) we were able to see some of the other room. We stayed at the Ocean Terrace room which has a little balcony and a wonderful view.
The food is not what I expected at all!!! Just fabulous. I am a big fine dining fan and have been to wonderful restaurants in the US and Europe, and the dinner we had in the Cass House Restaurant just blew me away. So much care and attention to detail and flavours and most of the food/ingredients are home-made or grown. Just an amazing 4-course meal. The wine-pairing was also great. Breakfast which is included in your price was also just as fabulous!
The staff is also extremely friendly and makes sure you have a wonderful time.
I have to say, all around, a great place and I am looking forward to our next stay already!

Room Tip: All rooms are different, some are smaller, some are bigger. Just check out the pictures online. Ever...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The Ocean Terrace room is very well appointed with a beautiful veranda and views to sea. Personally we wished it was a little larger to more easily accomodate large cases. We ate in the restaurant and it was a delightful experience with exceptional food and wine. The service throughout was extremely attentive and the staff very knowledgeable. Its not cheap but the experience is well worth the money.

Have visited Cass House several times and each visit has been perfect. Beautifully maintained building and grounds, friendly and helpful staff and thoughtful amenities. We never miss the opportunity to have dinner there; as we learned from the breakfasts, it's always a treat.

We had a wonderful time at Cass House at the end of November. The sheets and beds were amongst the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. The rooms were beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. With lots of surface areas for your things! I hate staying in rooms with no shelves or furniture for your belongings.
The food was a dream - do not forget to book your table for dinner!
The town of Cayucos is charming - spend some time in the cavernous, wonderful antiques shops, gelato at the Candy Counter on the corner, and drive out to the beautiful roads around Paso Robles. We also ate in San Luis Obispo one evening for a younger college-town feel.
Everyone was incredibly friendly, accommodating and made us want to stay for many more days. We were very sad to leave and can't wait to return.

This was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. From the moment we arrived, Grace and her staff made us feel more like family than just guests. The rooms were beautiful. The beds a dream. Grace took care of every last detail, leaving us to truly enjoy the weekend festivities. The grounds were a perfect backdrop for the wedding. The food and the presentation was amazing. They took care of everything. All the guests thought it was the most romantic, personal wedding they have ever attended. I can't say enough about the property and the fantastic staff at the Cass House. I truly do not have one negative thing to say. The Cass House is perfection.

This was our second stay at the Cass House. We stayed in the ocean peek room, which was smaller than the Captains Room we stayed in last time, but equally delightful. The hosts are great the food is exceptional and the rooms are beautiful. Last night my wife said, "I wish we were still at the Cass House." So do I.

Room Tip: Just pick one. There is a nice room downstairs that is private with a lovely deck, but the tub in th...
