Elegant dining in a small, quaint little beach town? Be prepared to change your expectations. This is an evening of fine dining with a chef who delights in flavors, textures and presentation. Yes, everything is based on local availability and is seasonal, but the creativity of the food is as good as anywhere in San Francisco or any other major city. The menu changes virtually every day, and is prix fixe for a four course dinner. You select one of two delicious choices for each course. The service was unobtrusive and impeccable, with a server who was part sommelier. The wine pairings are highly recommended, although you may order from an excellent cellar as well. We enjoy high caliber dining experiences, and to be honest, I'm not sure that we have ever had a better meal anywhere. This guy is a genius!
