“Amazing experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

This gem with 30 seats may be a difficult place to score a seat for dinner, but it is worth waiting for! The food is innovative, well executed, and never disappointing. The chef/owner, Joane Garcia-Colson, is a perfectionist and it is reflected in everything this restaurant does, from the amuse bouche that greets you to the gelato popsicle you enjoy before you leave. Both are presented to diners, without charge! Appetizers are in the $8-$12 range. Entrees average $30+ and desserts are $10. Dish has a wine and beer license that includes a wide variety of wines and every one is available by the glass! Service is prompt and gracious - an unbeatable combination. I have already recommended Dish to several friends who live in the Palm Springs area. My only regret in giving Dish a glowing review is now it will be even harder to get a reservation for dinner. Congrats on an outstanding concept and restaurant. Well done!

“New, Exciting dining for PS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

While staying at Inndulge, one of the owners recommended we try a new restaurant called "dish". While we were not too overly imprssed with the outside appearance of the restaurant, once inside, we were plesantly surprised. The meal started with small starter donuts (instead of bread), then several amuse bouches, the most delicious one being a cold soup. I had coq a vin, while my partner had the sea bass. Both entrees were fantastic. Based on the food, this restaurant is destined to be a star in the Palm Springs dining scene.

“Food Artistry + Warm Welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

This restaurant is a jewel. Creative food pairings with lovely presentation made this a delightful meal. We're still talking about the uncommon and delightful flavors we encountered. Everything was perfect! The Chef and staff were informative, helpful and provided a warm welcome to this delightful restaurant tucked into a Cathederal City strip mall. This is a MUST do if you are in the Coachella Valley.

“innovative influences!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Tucked away in a strip mall in Cathedral City, this desert location really is an oasis of creativity and gentle handling that lets the taste of the ingredients of the food shine through. Many morsels are served between courses and each is carefully explained by the attentive service staff.

The chef/owner greeted all of the 35 patrons (this is a small dining room) as welcome guests. When we left, I made a point of shaking her hand, thanking her for a delicious meal and assuring her that I would return...that can't happen soon enough for me.

“New Nouvelle Cousine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Heard about it from a friend. Was not disappointed. Only missing a 5th star because the noise level was high & though small the tables were very close together. The mini enticements between the courses were unique & excellent, especially the Beets. We strangely chose Filet Mignon. With all the very good steak restaurants in the Valley it was an odd choice but one we were glad we made. It was the Best Filet Mignon we've had outside of Spain- It was superbly seasoned and the quality of the steak was superb- looking to go back & try other dishes.
