“Great Neighborhood restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

Good Thai food at an affordable price!! Very diverse menu includes many vegetarian options. Plenty of parking, easy to find and outdoor seating.
I always need to modify my dishes to accommodate dietary restrictions and there's never a problem. Check it out!

“Super Phad Thai & Eggplant Dish & More!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This is a fab find of a restaurant. Right across the street from the mini-golf & Trader Joe's. In the same shopping center as the McDonald's. All Thai worker's here, so no guessers, as to how to do it right. The rice noodles were perfect, the three times we went back. They do put extra hot spices on the side of your dish, so watch out, as I thought they were the ground peanut, and it was hotter than I expected. Try the Phad Thai with your bean sprouts raw on the side, with their special lemon/lime juice on top and put on top for an added crunch. I like some fine shredded red cabbage to mix in with the bean sprouts all raw and cold on top. They don't have the red cabbage here, but for another take home, they do have a nice package at "Fresh & Easy's." My lady had the Eggplant and really loved it, I tried it and it was very good. Prices, outstandingly cheap. Like $8 for Phad Thai, not a massive portion to take home, but the price is appropriate and it is always better fresh. I made a combo of meat and chicken, Phad Thai. Go for it! Plenty of free parking and easy access off of Highway 111. I went from Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage and it was super easy. Excellent price compared to other higher priced restaurants in Palm Springs & Rancho Mirage. This is a small family restaurant with about 12-tables, so you are not paying for glitz and sparkle.

“One of our favorites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

We eat at Thai Kitchen at least twice a month. We have eaten both lunch and dinner there. Our favorites are the Red Curry and Pad Thai. The red curry comes with lots of sauce to pour over the rice. We have asked for an extra scoop of rice and they never charge us. The curry has a great flavor and the pad thai is wonderful. The lunch specials also includes a salad and a Thai iced tea drink..They are a little smaller portions than the dinner, but more than enough for lunch. We have tried Thai Smile, but were very disappointed with the flavor of our favorite dishes. What you may lose in ambiance, you more than make up for in the food and the price. There are about 9 tables inside and a small covered courtyard with about 4 tables. Well worth a visit.

“Thai Taste is Thai Kitchen”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2011

I guess from the address they are one and the same. Not being from the area, I do not know if there is a change in ownership or why the little signboard outside says Thai Taste. Anyway, we were there about 5PM to take advantage of the specials offered between 4:30 and 6. Nice selection of combinations including the soup or salad, entree, rice, and spring roll. Prices were less than $10. Beer and wine are available. Entrees had the distinctive Thai flavor that includes ginger.
