“Most Definitely a SKIP IT”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

Stopped here for lunch without reading the Tripadvisor reviews....definitely a NO NO! Although the sandwiches we ordered were good, the atmosphere was contaminated by a very ill homeless person which we didn't notice as you order your food before proceeding the to the sit down area. Although we moved outside with our sandwiches as soon as they arrived, unfortunately it was too late, we were both contaminated and were ill within about 24 to 48 hours. Fortunately it was at the end of a trip and not the beginning....cleanliness is a real problem at this establishment...the fact that it was pretty much empty should have warned us.

“Don't bother!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

No atmosphere, empty most week nights and it's not worth a visit.
Very ordinary pizzas, so behind the times of what can be produced now.
No service, but the counter guys are not at all bothered to help.
Would not go again!

“Mmmmmmm....goood!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Looking for pizza parlor goodness - this is the place. Giovanni's is a cool place with good, cheep pizza. The atmosphere of this place is really laid back, it's clean and the pizza is one of the better one's you'll get on the Central Coast. The crust is thin and the toppings are plenty. You won't be disappointed here.

“Perfect for Families”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Great location, plenty of dining area (inside & out), arcade games for all ages, & great food! From the salads (big portions), to the fresh bread used for the sandwiches, to the tasty pizza's that start at little individual for kids to the XL for the families. They also have a good selection of beers for the adults!

“Nice location, generous portions, food just O.K.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

Went with my husband and our 2yo girl on a monday night, it was almost empty and pretty much everywhere else was already closed. The place looks cute outside, with lights on the porch (we would've eat outside but it was cold). You have to order inside and then wait for your food to get ready and pick it up yourself, and once you are done you have to take your trash to the bin.

We ordered a mushroom calzone (it was huge and with loads of cheese, very good), garlic bread (tasted great with the tomato sauce and parmesan cheese on top and) and spaghetti marinara (was blah. It tasted ok but nothing noteworthy). The prices are not bad at all ($21 dllrs total with the food and two beverages). We could not finish the food (too much for just the two of us) and took some of the pasta to go. It is not the best food I've tasted, but it was ok and cheap, so no complaints. I didn't notice the place was "dirty" but yeah, it was not spotless. If you worry that much about hygiene, you should go elsewere.

By the way, this restaurant is very close to the beach and most of the cute shops in the city, but just as the rest, doesn't have their own parking lot.

I just realize there are some coupons on their website, so if you plan to go here, first check it out.
