“service is lacking”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

The food is decent and plentiful. The service could be better. Once we got our food the waitress disappeared. We were the only ones in the place so not sure what was keeping her so busy. She never came back to offer to refill our drinks, to ask if everything was good or if we needed anything. After she came back to give us our check I asked for a refill only to be asked "aren't you leaving?". Be sure to check your bill, she added gratuity for the four of us. Seriously for four people?

“A locals hangout with big salads and more.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014 via mobile

We hadn't been to "The Iron" as we locals call it for a while. The calamari appetizer was good. The kids were happy with their tuna melt and chicken strips. My shrimp Cobb salad was huge! I couldn't finish it and it could have easily fed two. Other favorites there are the burgers and the fish sandwich. The service was very good and the food came fairly quickly.

“Nice Enough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

I enjoyed the ambience and the service. The soup and my wife's meal were both super. However, the steak in my steak sandwich was fatty and not terribly juicy.

“Yummy Burgers!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Great yummy blue cheese burgers! Funky inside but a must stop if your going to go to the village. Has a seating inside and out. Separate bar area. Gets kinda loud. Atmosphere is casual.

“Worth the drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

We stayed right off Hwy 1, so it was worth the 12 mile drive to the restaurant for the food. The fish and chips was very good and the appetizer portion was very big, plenty for a dinner meal! Very relaxed atmosphere and the price was right. Also, we loved the bread pudding for dessert.
