“When did they build all these houses?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Beautiful scenery, beyond the doubt. But, there were a surprising number of enormous houses along the drive. It was disappointing to see guide wires helping to steady The Lone Cypress. Seeing and listening to the sea lions made up for that.

“Spectacular views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

We rode this on our bikes. There are some long downhills. The road is otherwise okay, traffic is a little heavy in certain areas and there was one really angry driver.

“Fabulous 17 Mile Drive!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

The best attraction in Carmel is the famous 17 mile drive, it is well worth seeing. And the infamous lone pine is the most photographed tree in the world. If you are touring Carmel you must do the drive!!!

“very good but dont rush”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

It is well worth the time but don't rush as the views are fantastic. we paid but some people just drove past the barriers unchallenged. Make sure its not a foggy day or your trip may not be worth it.

“17 miles of beauty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

What can u say? This has got to be one of the most beautifUl rides there can be! And who lives in those homes there? We were staying in Carmel so got off there and didn't quite see it all but that's ok . Didn't know there were several entrance points so didn't start from the golf course, sorry I missed pebble beach.
