“We keep coming back”

We always enjoy the Rio Grill and continually come back to enjoy their dinning experience. We always enjoy their beet salad and have never had a bad entree.Highly recommend them.

“Inventive Menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Outstanding menu choices will keep us coming back in the future. The dining room is very nice and the service is tremendous.

The place has a Mexican/California flair made all the more appealing by the creativeness of its head chef for finding interesting possibilities. We were there for dinner and because we weren't wanting main courses, salads and appetizers instead, we choice really nice Dungeness crab cakes and calamari with a nice orange/spicy sauce along with an Asian salad.

We liked it so much that we decided to go again before going back home.

“Lovely dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

While the locale may technically be in a shopping mall, don't you dare think food court dining! Rio Grill with its cheerful decor is an elegant yet casual restaurant with many eclectic choices on the menu. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. The wine list for your leisurely preview is viewable via tablet at your table. Try the oak smoked half chicken- it's excellent.

“Great Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

We had intended to have lunch in Carmel itself but the town was packed so we headed across the highway to the Crossroads mall. We saw the restaurant and I remembered seeing good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! I had the sand dab taco special on the menu and my wife had the prawn and brie wrap. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance. A great lunch all round.

“Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

This is a great place for lunch. Your choices are endless.. Nice environment, and the wait staff is great. Good wine, casual dinning, and you can find some wonderful dishes. It was so great we ate there for lunch twice. Good sandwiches, and a very enjoyable afternoon.
