Description: Grasing’s, located in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, lies along the Pacific Coast in Central California in Monterey County. It is 120 miles south of San Francisco, 70 miles south of San Jose and 350 miles north of Los Angeles. Celebrity chef partners, Kurt Grasing and Narsai David, truly created a gem. Fancifully designed in warm hues and modern art work, Grasing’s sets the stage for entertaining that is at once festive and intimate. From friendly and professional service, an award winning wine list and seasonally inspired cocktails to the fresh and sustainable local ingredients are only a few reasons why Grasing’s still receives rave reviews from the press. Just recently, Grasing’s was awarded “Restaurant of the Year” and “Business of the Year” by the Carmel Business Association. Chef Grasing was also honored recently by the American Culinary Federation and received an award for “Chef of the Year”.

“Excellent, again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

Crowded for good reason. Seared Ahi and a good salad... nice wine list. Excellent dinner for both of us, get a reservation first, though.

“Elegant, Great Service, Excellent Food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

For lunch Grasings is a quiet, lovely place to eat with friends- elegant but not stuffy. For dinner, it is a special occasion place. The food is wonderful, the service perfect.

“Exclusive, delicious and friendly!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012 via mobile

Great Service! I tried the duck breast, which isn't one of their specialties, considering that their main cuisine is seafood. Still, the food tasted fantastic and well served aswell. Thou it doesn't count as cheap. You may easiely spend a 150$ for three people having apatizer and main course. The Restrooms are in a little cottage right next to the restaurant. They are acceptable clean. Overall I would say that it's absolutly worth it. It was not crowded, quite exclusive and had a quiet but harmonic atmosphere. Excellent Restaurant, would love to go there again!
