“Tucked away on a side street but worth to find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

We came across this place by accident so we gave it a try, the wine list is a bit OTT 49 pages and an index! However we had the seafood linguine which looked and tasted fantastic.

“Make sure not to miss this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

Casanova is a well know destination, and we neve miss going there when in Carmel. The patio seating is very comfortable and relaxing. The food is exceptional, with a unique take on a spinach souffle Gnocchi and a great scampi dish. Site back and enjoy a glass or bottle of wine from a very extensive wine menu.

“Great food, but not good service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I ate dinner here, after getting a few recomendations from people. The food was good, above average. The server was not. A gentlemen outside, that was not attentive. I gave him all the room in the world to treat us with respect. It did not come. The location and atmosphere was great. Spinach gnocchi was great, duck carpaccio was great. The Cannelloni Romagnola was also very enjoyable. A more respectable server would have bumped my rating up another star. But my recomedation would be go for it,.

“Great setting, service and food - wine list was wonderful too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Was seated in a wonderful exterior courtyard with a festive atmosphere in the middle of the restaurant. Server was wonderful as was the sommelier. Food surpassed the service and everything was shared amongst our party. Will visit again when I am back in Carmel.

“Nothing beats the ambiance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

The food was pricey and it was very good. Wasn't the very best gourmet food that we have had, but it was worth it for the ambiance of the restaurant. Very cute cottage style and the drinks were delicious. Try the spiced mango margarita.
