“very nice tasting room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

Good central California bubbly. Tasting room is very attractive and relaxing. They also have a TV if you want to sneak a peak at a sports event.

“Felt more like a wine bar than a tasting room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Caraccioli Cellars in downtown Carmel is very sleek and stylish with a lively atmosphere. It feels more like a trendy wine bar than a tasting room. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but not overcrowded; we were able to get seats at the bar without waiting. The tasting cost $10 for four tastes from the menu or $4 for an individual tasting. All wines were also available by the glass and they had a selection of cheese and meat platters. The staff were friendly but, unlike other tasting rooms we have visited, they were not very attentive and seemed less knowledgeable about the wines they were pouring. The sparkling wines were the real highlight for us at Caraccioli, particularly the 2007 Brut Rose.

The people there who run it, young, hip and really nice--are awesome and know their stuff! This was a pleasant place to stop in for a beverage!

“Fantastic spot...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

I've been a fan of Caraccioli wines for a long time - it was great to finally be able to meet the folks behind it. Wine tasting was excellent - the selection of cheeses and meats was to die for. The tasting room was full but not busy - great ambiance. Did a full tasting of all wines - and left with a full cast of wine - tasting fee waived.

Great wine, great food and excellent staff. Definitely worth a visit if in downtime Carmel! Public parking is just down the street too.

“Wine Tasting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Open at 2PM daily put Caraccioli on your to do list while in Carmel. You have a choice to taste a flight or sample any wine individually. There is an offering of cheese from the local Carmel cheese shop and a charcuterie of delicious cured meats. By all means, this is a happening spot. . . great decor, casual tasting room with a friendly feel, and excellent sparkling wines!
