We stayed two nights here, in November. Outside it's just lovely, with vines growing thick on the walls. The town is tiny, so every place is close by. Parking is free, and parking in town is problematic, so just walk for 5-10 minutes and you're anywhere you might want to go. It was not only very clean, but atmospheric. We stayed in #46, forget the name, but it's like a cottage, with a separate bedroom from the living room. Walls are wood paneled, so it has a very intimate atmosphere. The room was very clean and well kept up. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was small but enjoyable and more than adequate. The price was quite reasonable, but of course it was November. I'd definitely stay there again. We loved Carmel, so the Briarwood was just one more component of a lovely stay in a lovely and picturesque little town.
