We found this cute tapas restaurant in Carmel on the recommendation of friends. Some of the dishes were great, while others were very good. There was an interesting array of small plates, each in the traditional Spanish mode. The "Party Bottle" wine ($5 if you don't ask; $8 if you ask) was a good addition to the meal. We tasted the Sangria (red and delicious), but decided to stick with the Party Bottle wine in light of the variety of dishes we were ordering. The Rioja poached pears with crepes were a good light dessert, but we would ask for more pears next time.
The service was quite good. The owner spent some quality time with us, and he was quite gregarious and friendly. The atmosphere was great and enjoyable. It was a very nice experience overall.
