This B and B is very well located on the seaward side of the main part of town, a couple of blocks from the beach. The "expensive" rooms are huge and beautifully furnished with all fittings seemingly brand new. I cannot imagine that there is better accommodation in the town at anywhere near the same price level. The best furnished rooms we had in a 5,000 mile circular trip from Denver.

we made resverations with lucille for five days,arriving on sept,25th,(recommended by a friend who lives in carmel) lucille explained the hotel amenities to us and suggested room #106.the room was very very nice.heated bathroom floors,55 inch flat screen direct tv.nice view of the ocean of course weather permitting. scott the front desk person was friendly and polite.fabulous breakfast at the pine included. we will be back again wally and grete scottsdale az.

We had a great stay at the Tally Ho Inn. Loved everything about it - the room was spacious, clean and fully updated. What's better than a view of the ocean from the warmth of your very comfy bed with the fireplace going? Maybe the nightly turn-down service with yummy little chocolates, the large, jetted soaking tub, the great shower head in the shower-built-for-two, the outdoor fireplace that's on 24/7, the little cheese and cracker spread at 5 pm, the great location that was in walking distance to both the ocean and all the shops? Well, don't know which of those would be better but I'm glad I didn't have to decide because this great little 12-room inn had all of the above!! Loved it here!
