“Most quiet lodging in Carmel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012 via mobile

Many other choices in town have constant traffic noise. Not here! It is so peaceful you enjoy all the special touches. The gardens, the bed, the linens, the afternoon wine and cheese, the cottage itself and last but not least Buddy the cat who serves as greeter.
We have come to Carmel for years and we regret not finding this oasis sooner!

“LOVE this place!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

One of the best places I have ever stayed in! We were in the Little John cottage and it was perfect for the 4 of us, they have a pull out sofa bed in a separate room that my kids enjoyed. Loved all the little details from the way the cottage was decorated to how breakfast was delivered in the morning. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, I loved sitting by the fireplace at the wine and cheese reception just staring at the beauty of the place. Housekeeping came by every morning and cleaned EVERYTHING, such a great job and friendly too. The cottages are right next to the beach (about 1 block walk) and about 1 mile from downtown. Very quiet and relaxing at night did not hear anything, such a nice vacation and we cant wait to return!!

“Great Carmel Vacation Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

I would highly recommend Lincoln Green Inn, offering an intimate setting that’s so inviting; private cottages with beautiful country-style gardens. We were welcomed by friendly staff; they were helpful in recommending restaurants and places to visit.
The interior of our cottage was so quaint and spacious. Each morning our breakfast was delivered. We enjoyed our meal outside on the private deck. And before the dinner hour we were offered a nice assortment of wine and cheese by their outdoor fireplace in the garden. This is an exceptional place to stay and made my visit to Carmel a wonderful vacation.

Room Tip: All the cottages are private and offer quality amenities. The bed was so comfortable with lots of p...

“Fantastic Cottage Oasis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

My husband and I stayed five nights in The Friar Tuck cottage. This place is awesome! First, the cottages are so neat, but the bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Breakfast is brought to your cottage every morning and you do get to make some selections. We also ate one morning at The Cottage Restaurant to have a hot breakfast and I had the best Eggs Benedict I have ever eaten. The inn is close to the beach and makes for great walks and getting to town is a short drive. You can walk to town, but it is a bit of a hike. Our cottage had a gas fireplace which we used in the mornings even though our stay was in August. Our visit to Carmel was fabulous, but the Lincoln Green Inn made our stay so comfortable we didn't want to leave.

“Lovely Cottages”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

Stayed here on a family vacation, so we booked 4 of the cottages. All were comfortable and cute; most had full kitchens, which was really great for us.

Pretty garden with lots of sitting areas. The cottage I was in, Friar Tuck, had a side yard with a lounge chair. Little John also had a nice attached yard area.

I loved having breakfast delivered in the morning- lots of choices for a continental breakfast, but since there's a kitchen, you can also supplement.

Friendly cat is a bonus.

Close enough to walk to the beach. Can walk into town, but it's not super close.

Room Tip: Look through the cottage descriptions to see which one suits you best. Of the 4 that I saw (Robin H...
