“Edgar's is the place to go for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2015

Edgars is on the golf course, at the clubhouse and a worthwhile stop even if you aren't golfing. Beautiful course located in Carmel Valley between mountains. Spring has sprung. Shrimp tacos, fresh fish, sandwhiches and soup of the day were all worthwhile. Attentive servers for casual, classy dining.

“booking”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2015

Just tried to book and it was extremely frustrating.... asked about the winter escape package...no one know what I was talking about...The woman on the other end of the phone was extremely short and disinterested in helping...Was really set on saying here for our anniversary but I've been put off and am now looking for another option.

“Edgar's Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2014

It's a great restaurant with a small menu that the chef changes often. Flatbreads and the steak sandwich are especially good as well as the burger. His club sandwich is a bit different, but people seem to like it. If you are out in Carmel Valley and want some quiet golf-club elegance situated in the middle of Carmel VAlley, try Edgar's. It's at the Golf Club, not the hotel so just drive another minute until you see the Club, then you are there.

“First Class Property and Prestine Renovation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2014

The up dating to the property is in such good taste and harmonious design you don't see it as much as you feel it. I have been coming here for over 30 years and it is a calm soothing elegant calm. The location and setting are second to none. The Pebble Beach Car show in conducted on the grounds and the staff handles the crowd beautifully. If you have a more sensitive budget book in the off season and bask in the lifestyle, you don't need to be a golfer to enjoy the ambiance of this fine Resort Property.

“Serene and lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2014

This resort was completely redone in the last year to the tune of 14 million dollars and it shows. The rooms are very large, beautifully decorated and each has a private outdoor terrace or patio. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful with a pond in the middle and backing a golf course. The main lodge building where you check in is gorgeous with soaring ceilings and fireplaces but all in calm, creamy colors with wood accents. They offer a substantial continental breakfast with many organic and and gluten free options. There is a patio for dining which hangs over the pond and is just a great place to start the day. Nice bonus for pet lovers - they allow pets in all the rooms we understand. There is even a meet and greet doggie at check in. The rooms have really nice manufactured hardwood floors and woven rugs so the floors are not only vacuumed but mopped daily so there is no trace of the previous occupants be they human or canine. Highly recommend this place.
