“Great pizza - casual setting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

If you like pizza, you'll love this place. Mobbed wth families, couples, etc. having pizza and enormous salads with a choice of a couple of dozen beers!

“Loud and crowded”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Usually a packed restaurant means it has great food. Not in this case. I know it's an "establishment" in Carlsbad but the pizza isn't really anything to write home about. It's loud, crowded, cheap, and had family style tables. If you like beer then bingo, lots of different and interesting titles on tap. Next door is a store (odd hours) that sells over 200 single beers for the hop connoisseur.

“The whole family loves this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Pizza Solana has clams, thats hard to find, & Pizza Laguna has artichokes, another fav, but they are ALL excellent. Fresh rootbeer a must too. It is loud & often packed, but don't let that stop you. Squeeze in where you can & enjoy!

“My FAVORITE pizza place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Pizza Port has always been a staple in Carlsbad as long as I can remember. Awesome place where they have just as many pizza choices as they do beers and micro-brews. The food has ALWAYS been amazing and whenever people start talking about the best pizza, I always bring up Pizza Port. Every now and then I catch myself craving some garlic Beer Buddies. This place keeps me coming back for more than 12 years now.

“Grubby but Yummy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Pizza Port has terrific pizza, salads and beer. Intimate it is not, appealing to mostly twenty-somethings coming in off the beach or just jumping off their skateboards. But having multiple locations and a huge following this is the local's place to go for great pizza. Expect to wait in a long line to order your food and then another extremely long line to order your beer. The establishment refuses to get wait staff as they are already at maximum capacity most days so you go there knowing you'll probably have to sit with people you don't know, bus your own table, eat off paper plates, and wait for a good 30 minutes before you hear your name over the loudspeaker indicating your food is ready for pick-up. Great for families and people who love good rowdy crowds! Oh, and did I say the pizza was terrific?
