“Great market to grab lunch at”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

I have eaten here a few times, and the food is decent, but not the best. Of course, I would go again to be able to peruse the shelves at the market.

“Brats & Beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Brats, beer and take home. The ambiance is lame but the food is really good and very inexpensive. The meat counter and international food items are terrific. Go for a good cheap lunch or dinner, not for ambiance.

“deli - overpriced and bad quality”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Can't judge the restaurant, but what we bought at their deli today was just terrible and ridiculously priced.
They sold us a rye bread for $7.99 (!) which turned out to be completely old (not even a few days old, more like a week), it had a white layer on its inside. I was really upset with it, this bread shouldn't be on shelves anymore. Feel cheated. The sausages we bought are also very pricey, and very average in taste, nothing special, nothing to drive out of the way for. I will never buy anything there again. I don't think I can trust their food quality and maybe even safety. I know they used to have a good reputation, but obviously things changed. One thing for sure, it's not the quality you would experience in Germany.

“GPS Required”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

This place has an excellent local reputation. It is off on a side street, so you may miss it without a recommendation. It is a German Food specialty store too, so if you are looking for hard to find items, this is where you will find them. Their meats are excellent. Lebanon Balogna and other meats that you won't find in your typical Grocery Store. All you can Eat Breakfast).

“Great value for dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

We ate here twice on a recent visit to the area- once for breakfast and once for dinner. Breakfast was ok, the pancakes were large and filling, but the potatoes were weren't hot. The ham and bacon were great. Dinner is a great value. Can't beat a steak dinner and a beer for about $12. The food was cooked fresh and served quickly. The place could use a bit of updating, but would return again.
