“Almost as fun as LegoLand itself!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Oh, you should totally do this! Our stay at LegoLand Hotel really contributed to our overall resort experience. What fun we had! Not only were we already there when the Park opened, but we received early access, and tips from the elves on how best to enjoy the rides, while we were playing games, dancing in the elevators, and finding hidden fun at every turn! We were on the second floor in the Pirate room. We stayed on Christmas eve, and were in the park on Christmas Day. All of us had a ball!

The resort is great, kids of all ages have fun. Assuming we coped the dollar cost during high-end travel season, but with fast access to the park, themed rooms and plenty of lego for the kids to play with - was rated number 1 best place to stay by my boys (8,10). Older sister, Mum and Dad loved it as well...Day 1 / 40

My husband and two children (ages 4 and 6) had a 1 night stay at the Legoland Hotel this month. We were satisfied with the 1 night stay but would not do a longer stay. We stayed on the second floor in the Pirate room.

The Good:
Very child friendly
Great access to Legoland
Bunkbeds are a great treat for the kids
Happy Hour prices for parent beverages.
Kids room entertainment
Lobby night entertainment
Included breakfast

The Bad:
Rooms are small and dark.
Room restroom had an unpleasant smell.
Due to the mass numbers of children, nights in your room can be really noisy!
2 elevators for the entire hotel was not sufficient. Check out day required us to stand in line just to take the elevator
Unattended kids everywhere!
Buffet food was dry and over heated, lines to be seated.

Overall, our family would return if we came across a good deal. Otherwise, the inflated prices in the summer are not worth it.

Dear “Love2Travel79,”

Thank you for sharing your informative yet constructive feedback!

We try to create a resort where our guest’s needs are anticipated and the kids are entertained throughout their stay. Reading your review, I believe that you and your family enjoyed this aspect of our resort. However, I did want to apologize that we did not live up to the high level of service we have set for ourselves. Whether it’s the quality of your room, your dining experience or your check-out experience, we expect to keep our guests comfortable and satisfied as much as possible and I’m sorry this was not what was provided consistently. Please know with your feedback, we will learn from any oversight to better improve our service for future guests!

Although you experienced some negative experiences along your stay, I hope that you and your family were still able to enjoy your overall stay. Again, thank you for your most valued feedback and we hope that you will consider visiting us again in the near future.

Warm regards,

Shawna

Stayed three nights and had a blast! You need to have the mindset that the hotel is not for adults and is for children. I've stayed in better hotels for less money but this hotel is all about the kids and ours didn't want to leave! It's worth the price as a one in a lifetime treat for kids - it will make your Legoland experience 10 times better and your kids will be eternally grateful!

The restaurant is a little pricey but it's convenient if you don't want to drive into Carlsbad (which isn't very far away and has some good dining options). Like most reviewers have suggested, the restaurant does have a queue in the evening so try to get there early.

We , family of 4, loved the Legoland experience. All hotel rooms are themed and beautifully designed. The elevator with disco music starting when you enter was a highlight, especially for me (mum). The breakfast was the best I ever had in any hotel. Amazing!
I suggest you experience this hotel with your kiddies once at least.

I really didn't think staying here would be as amazing but it is SO worth it. Every floor has a theme and all the rooms are amazing inside. Definitely kid geared but so fun for the whole family. We live close enough to just go home but I tell everyone that they should spend at least one night there even if they live down the street. My kids said they would have fun just staying at the hotel and not even going to the park! (Even though we still go to the park lol)

A dream come true for our 2 lego fans!!! Being right next the park and with early access, it was great. Boys loved the treasure hunt and free Lego ( if you stay 2 nights) and the Lego to play with the room.Themed rooms nice Lego displays and décor, although room compact. Outdoor pool which said it was heated only diehard kids were going in!
Great entertainment, Lego competitions & activities, although the public areas got very cramped at the peak activity times.
Breakfast was included, but they warn you to eat before 8am to avoid the rush, so we did just that. Buffet breakfast was really great, plenty of choice, eat as much as you wanted and special low buffet area for kids to serve themselves. The dining area had plenty of Lego displays and in the evening characters mingled.

Room Tip: Each floor has a different theme so it depends what you child would like most.
