“Nice trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2009

Went with family, they are putting new beds in the rooms and the new beds are very nice. If you want an oceanfront room make sure you get there as soon as you can check in. They wont guarantee you a ocean view room, they just put it as a would like. Our son loved the pools, and everyone was friendly. Some of the rooms had cosmetic problems, some of the cabinets were chipped but we didn’t care. Staff was very helpful, and they have activities all the time.

this was our first time staying at this resort. We loved it !! The staff was friendly and helpful, the acess to the beach was an easy walk, the availibility of beach toys was great. the welcome breakfast was not to be missed, alot of good info about the programs offered and also info about the area, The full kitchen allowed us to eat in or go out. We did make use of their barbeque grills a couple of nights. (burgers one night and ribs the other) A grocery store was close and that helped to put a meal together. Overall I would recommend this resort to all my friends and hope to be able to return ourselves.

When we got there, they had champange and strawberries for all the new check-ins, and a harpis playing in the lobby, this was a very nice touch, and made feel very welcome. The staff was professional as usual, and the unit very clean. There are always great activities for the kids, although at one time the attendent disappeared while we were gluing the bird houses together. I noticed abit more sand in the childrens pool, guest coming back from the beach are not rinsing off as they should. Looking forward to our return next year.

My wife and I and two teenage boys had a great week at Seapointe. Both my sons took surfing lessons with the San Diego Surfing Academy which was offered by the resort. The staff was very friendly and there are many things to do for families. Thank you Seapointe staff...

The Activities center was simply amazing. They let us check-out beach equipment and all kinds of toys as well as equipment for the Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, fooseball and ping pong. They also had a donut run, Ice cream cones, root-beer floats and an evening of roasting smores. All included in you stay. The resort had a cozy feeling - I like that the size was small enough you could walk around and get to whatever activity you wanted quickly and easily. Unlike some resorts that are just too big, (ie at Newport Coast Villas by Marriott we got so worn out going from one activity to the next and had to carry a map - we drove to the tennis courts so we wouldn't be too worn out when we got there to play tennis.) I really appreciated the simplicity, the ammenities and fabulous staff. We did not need to leave the resort! Other than a quick trip to Costco, which was right around the corner, to pick up food we mostly stayed on at the resort or at the beach which was a short walk down the bluff. We did go to the U-Pick Strawberry farm and it was well worth it! Best Strawberries we've had and the kids LOVED picking them! We highly reccomend this resort to anyone wanting a relaxing and/or fun filled family vacation. The weather alone was worth the trip! Cool yet sunny days-Evreryday!
