We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights – we chose it mainly because of its proximity to Legoland -- and wished we could have stayed longer. I didn’t realize it used to be a Four Seasons, which probably accounts for the lavish scale of the public areas. There’s nothing really to fault with this hotel (apart from the room interiors, which could use an update) – service was excellent, the atmosphere calm and lovely, breakfast an unhurried affair. And as for the Vivace restaurant, it was outstanding. Delicious food (yes, even the kids’ pasta with tomato sauce was amazing) and the prices were reasonable, considering. We didn’t use the pool or the outdoor areas much, as it was raining and chilly, but they looked inviting. Maybe next time!
