In the past we have loved the food at Casa De Bandini, but the Mariachi's were out of control loud. We like to go out to dinner, eat good food and be able to talk. But the mariachi's would come to our section of Bandini and "camp out" for 10 minutes or more and it completely cut off conversation.
We like their music in moderation, but we don't want it to overpower us. We felt like victims to their desire to play for dollars at the tables surrounding us.
So we essentially stopped going to Bandini and switched over to Miguel's, Garcia's and El Callejon. But this last Saturday we went to Bandini and the mariachi's were very contained and the experience was wonderful.
We like the food at Bandini the best of all these other mentioned venues. If the mariachi's continue to be contained we will be regulars!
