We stayed here on a recent trip to Legoland with our 4 boys. The hotel room was spacious, much larger than most, and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us in one room. I especially appreciated that we were all able to stay in one room. It was quiet at night and there was plenty of hot water in the morning for a shower. The breakfast room is small and somewhat limited in what it offers. There are no whole grain offerings. So bring your own granola or Raisin Bran if that is important to you. And no hot chocolate either. But if your kids love sugar cereals and you like white flour offerings for breakfast, then you will be happy with breakfast.

The room is quite big, clean and confotable. The motel is located outside Carlsbad close to the freeway and very easy to find. Large parking lot. We used this motel as it is close to legoland. Front desk nice and helpful. They stored our lugage for 1 week. The only negative issue is the breakfast. Breakfast room is incredible small (only 3 tables). We had breakfast on the stairs outside the breakfast room. Breakfast very basic and not very good. Give it a chance.

We stayed at the EconoLodge in December for one night and it was very pleasant! The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. Although it was right off from the Freeway, you couldn't really hear the Freeway traffic. The continental breakfast was ok. Would have liked a larger selection, but it was good enough.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast with hot & cold items. Location is 10 min. from beach. Downtown Carlsbad has some great shopping & restaurants. The staff is very friendly especially Malv & Jay who helped whenever needed.
