“Religious destination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

My first impression about place is the people who are very religious minded. Though, the structure has grown old, still it tells a lot about the people of Bhutan.

“Tourist's delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

This is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Due to its presence in the Paro region, it has got the attention of the tourists. As it was built way back some 13 centuries ago, it has got strange stories circulating about it. Take some time, and try to know about the place. It has also got the look of medieval period. You can somewhat relate how the temple may have looked in the past.

“Temple with a great legacy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Even as a child, I studied about it, only saw much later. It is an ancient temple for the local Buddhists. What I admire about the place is its tranquility. The temple demonstrates how far Buddhism is embedded in our society.

“This is what Bhutan is all about.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

Do visit this place of history, beauty and legend. It was built in 7th century to pin down the foot of a dangerous demoness. Kichu Lakhang is alive, colorful, interesting, filled with visitors and worshipers but not overcrowded. It is one of more beautiful Bhutanese Buddhist temples.
