Our hostess warmly greeted us with "welcome back; it has been a long time". How wonderful to be remembered. Our food was hot off the stove and delicious. We started with gyoza and edamame, with a glass of wine and sake. The service was gentle and slow paced which served us well. We enjoyed our appetizers and then enjoyed the 2 choice bento boxes of sashimi and tonkatsu, while sharing an order of the shrimp tempura. The schrimp tempura was the best I have ever had. The tempura is light and the schrimp was clean and tasty. All was enhanced by the soft relaxing music and our gracious serving staff. We shall not wait so long to return again.
