“Fantastic little place in Cambria”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

I'd say a booking is required if you're planning on a weekend visit as it's a cozy little place. The pork chop with mushroom sauce was unreal. Possibly the best pork chop I've ever had.... so tender and the sauce was just marvelous. Service was fantastic and attentive. The only downside was that the temperature in the space was quite warm that night. I may have thought about dessert, but, because it was so warm, I was ready to get outside after dinner.

“Madeline's is a MUST when in Cambria!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

The atmosphere, service & food are wonderful! I happen to have food allergies and the chef made me one of the best filet mignons without butter, dairy or gluten that I have ever had. The frisee salad was delicious without the cheese.

My husband & I had tried Madeline's two years ago and absolutely loved it, and it was first on my list of restaurants to go to the next time we went back to Cambria. We just went back and the meal was just as delicious as it was on our first visit. The chef really knows how to cook for people with food allergies or intolerances. My husband ordered creme brulee for dessert and loved it.

Thank you Madeline's for a wonderful evening....we look forward to coming back!

Three perfect days in Cambria end with a marvelous dinner at romantic Madeline's. This intimate setting has superb wait staff, fascinating menu choices, dishes presented with panache, and a delight to the palate. A most memorable evening.

“Our 30th Anniversary Dinner Celebration”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

Great selection of wines and champagnes. A nice variety of dinners to choose from. The ambiance is everything we were looking for since this was our first visit. The lighting itself was something we found to be pleasing and unusual. By chance we had a wonderful conversation with the owner who is also the Chef at various times of the week. We both had filet mignon which was so delicious it is difficult to describe. The vegetables were fresh and crisp as if it were picked that very day. And last but not least the desert was outstanding; bananas foster !

“Would go back in a heartbeat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

Ditto to the other reviews. Excellent service. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairings, 5 courses, and loved each morsel. Superb wine choices. Plenty of food per course. Small, intimate with easy street parking. Mushroom soup splendid.
