“Hidden delights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2007

Easily missed because of its obscure location, this resturant is an absolute gem if you want great food and a friendly atmoshere. Looking for killer decor and snobby waitresses - go somewhere else.

The food is the attraction however and with a distinctly Italian flavor. Forget the garlic bread and go with the Brushetta. For your entree - have the Chicken Piccatta. This is to die for. The wonderful aromas and flavors come together in an exqusite dining experience. After dinner, get at least two desserts for your party, and split them up, so everyone can taste them and their uniqueness.

Try it once and you'll be like me - hooked for life.

“Great Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2007

Nice restaurant, Great food at a reasonable price.
My wife and I started with a nice Antipasta which was great, everything was very fresh. We had Manicotti and a Crab pasta, both were very traditional preparations and included garlic bread. The decor is bland and the service is good but the food is excellent.

“Fabulous Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2007

Lombardi's is on a side street off of the main street in Cambria. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Could be good, could be not so good......we went in and it was FABULOUS!

Definitely give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

“More pasta, but in a good way”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2007

As a kosher family we adopt a vegetarian lifestyle when travelling and although our kids are increasingly adventurous, pizza and pasta is an all too frequent option. Lombardi's was actually an above average choice.

The service was good, even though the place was quite full and the food was pleasant and reasonably priced. My eight year old daughter did find the children's portion pitifully small, however.

“Tasty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2007

We enjoyed Lombardi's marinara sauce on pasta, but be careful of their garlic noodles--over kill on the garlic. The salad was very, very small--like a tiny cereal bowl, and very sad...wilted as if sitting out for a long time.

If they'd freshen the salad and enlarge it, I'd give it a higher rating.

Had to drag conversation out of the waiters. Seems they see so many people come and go in this town that they don't really "see" their guests. I'd prefer a warm smile and "where ya from" over the best meal in town. IMO.
